Operational experience:
Was on active military service in Belarus, the Caucasus, Ural, Volga, Kazakhstan military regions and in Czechoslovakia.
After retirement, was a senior research fellow of the Central Scientific-Research Institute of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and of the National Institute for Strategic Studies of the Council of National Security and Defence of Ukraine.
An expert in military and national security matters. An author of more than 400 publications.
