The public organization ”The Ukrainian Analytical Center of Perspective Development” (UACPD) exists since 2007. It was created by the order of  the Pechersk District State Administration in the city of Kiev, the state registration licence А01№258416.

Head of the project – Yuriy Yegorov, Head of the Supervisory Board – Dr., Prof. Vladimir Bogdanovich. The body of the UACPD co-founders consists of 7 persons. More than 100 experts, among whom there are leading academicians, lawyers, political scientists, government experts and analysts, industrialists and businessmen,  officials of law-enforcement services and specialist in education form temporary labour collectives.

The organizational structure of the UACPD consists of three main sectors: assistance to private enterprises and business activity; maintenance of international business cooperation; assistance to the development, promotion and manufacturing application of informational, communicative, business and Internet technologies; carrying out of public  actions and likewise else.

The UACPD contributes to an exchange of information, experience, knowledge, technologies between the governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as to an application of the achievements of science to production, to an attraction of domestic and foreign investments and other financial assets for financing small and medium business. It contributes to organization of meetings with representatives of foreign states and international organizations, to a maintenance of direct international contacts with foreign public and philanthropic organizations, cultural and educational centers and so on.

In the Center, the scientific school “Actual Problems of Ensuring of National Security and Stable Development of State” was created and is functioning under a supervision of Doctor of Engineering, Professor V.Bogdanovich.

The UACPD researches and models processes of the governmental bodies’ management activity and forecasts probable negative consequences of the managing decisions for social-political situation and the national security in general.

Main directions of activity and main achievements

The main directions and tasks of the Center are:

• organization of interaction and cooperation between businessmen, governmental officials, international organizations, foreign companies, foundations, scientific and educational institutions;

• organization and carrying out of “round tables”, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, consultations with participation of representatives of science, public community, governmental institutions and local authorities, experts and consultants;

• participation in realization of social, cultural, educational, scientific and likewise programs (including international);

• assistance to an attraction of domestic and foreign investments and other financial assets for financing small and medium business;

• organization of meetings with representatives of foreign states and international organizations;

• maintenance of direct international contacts with foreign public and philanthropic organizations, cultural and educational centers that are engaged in problems of perspective development;

• system analysis of the state policy of national security in its determining spheres;

• assistance to a gaining, processing, analysis and distribution of juridical, economic and other information which is of interests of wide circle of subjects of civic relations;

• maintenance of development of publishing business, mass-media, the Internet and informational infrastructure;

• pursuing of public expertise of programs, projects, managing decisions in the sphere of national security and defence;

• monitoring, analysis and forecast of dynamics of threats to national interests and national security of Ukraine in political, economic, military, informational and other spheres;

• prediction of scenarios of geopolitical situation development in particular regions and of their influence on ensuring of stable development of Ukraine;

• modeling of social-economic developments of Ukraine and estimation of effectiveness of mechanisms of their realization;

• elaboration of operative commentaries and publication of informational-analytical materials in regard to the main directions of the Center activity.

Members of the UACPD have elaborated a unique scientific-methodological apparatus of studies of the national security problems, in particular:

The Center maintains well developed international contacts. It cooperates actively with the World Academy of Science, as well as with many other authoritative foreign organizations and institutions.

Members and research fellows of the Center are the authors of many Ukrainian and Russian patents for invention of means and methods of anti-high-precision armament defence, as well as of detection of hardly noticeable air objects, and  etc.

The Center pays especial and permanent attention to an applied output of scientific-methodological blueprints. In particular, during last years, our models were used for an estimation of level of social-political tension in Ukraine; of level of food supply security of the state; of level of inter-ethnic tensions in Crimea; as well as for substantiation of probable scenarios of geopolitical stabilization in Ukraine and of variants of   improvement of its geopolitical model.

Further prospects of the UACPD activity are connected with the elaboration of models and forecasts of perspectives of development of particular branches of national economy; with research and analysis of political, economic, humanitarian and ethnographic processes in Ukraine; with monitoring of political processes both in Ukraine and in regions of Ukrainian national interests’ realization.  

Main forms of activity:

- organization and carrying out of interactive seminars, “round tables”, presentations;

- elaboration of analytical materials, political and economic forecasts, commentaries and other intellectual products;

- realization of PR-projects for persons, organizations, enterprises, cities and regions;

- consultations on present-day and strategic economic and political matters;

- information distribution activity, creation and maintenance of the Internet-resources of the Center, cities and enterprises of Ukraine;

- conducting of sociological research works, polls, public hearings and etc.

Aiming at assistance to a development of political and economic management in Ukraine, the Center is editing a quarterly review “Perspective Development”.
